The following links contain two scripts, the first is an unfinished spec pilot that I have been working on based in HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos setting, intended for a mainstream TV audience.
The second script is the first draft to the first issue of a creator-owned comic, also titled Arkham. The story largely taken from the existing TV pilot script, but with some tweaks throughout, both to adapt to the different format, and to the shorter episodic format that is monthly comics.
While I use a large amount of Lovecraft's (and his peers') work and ideas, I also tried to ground the setting in our own world as much as possible, mining the history of the era for meaningful background elements. Because of this, the Cthulhu Mythos themselves are more of a springboard for my own ideas.
